Reichstagskuppel

Quick post with some pictures. The Sunday after Dresden, I got to visit the dome over the Reichstag (German Parliament Building). There is an audio tour that explains the sights, the history of the building, and the German Parliamentary System. If you’re ever in Berlin, do this! It’s free, and the registration is here: http://www.bundestag.de/besuche/kuppel-dachterrasseunddachgartenrestaurant

The top of the dome is actually open to the air. This allows the stale air to escape, and there is a water collection and waste heat reclamation system as well.
